There's been some buzz lately about a reboot/restart of what I always thought was an awesome show, which led me to start a rewatch. In season 1 there is a shot that has a pretty clear view of Neals ID, so I figured I would get back on my bullSheeeet and take a swing at it.

ALMOST ALL OF THE ID is super simple and straight forward. Very simple font choices. the unaltered FBI logo used a few times. not challenging.

BUT.

What the heck is that thing at the top, framing the "United States Department of Justice" text? I spent some time digging around online looking at other replicas from other shows, production made pieces that ended up at auction, etc, and came up empty handed. Curious if anyone has seen anything like this, or can ID the source of this? Or have high res images of a blank that uses the same graphic?

Where/when is the shot of the ID you have the picture of?
i took some screenshots of the ID used in the 1st episode (at the very very end) and it looks more like the replicas that people have on Yourprops.

side note - I thought for a second that maybe they just took some graphics from scroll work on money and pasted it on top... but alas, I couldn't find anything from the bills that I had that matched.
