I was trying to look for a old TV remote but have come up dry.
I'm having a hard time locating the rocker switch in the bottom.
Does it look familiar to you? :unsure
I'm no help in finding the rocker switch but you could cut one out of wood with a dremel with a pivot point in the center and put a couple of springs (like out of ball point pens) under each button to allow it to rock from side to side. An hour or less of time and you got one to fit whatever scale you want.
I think we had an old heating pad in the house when I was younger that had that rocker switch built into the box wired into the cord that turned it on and off. In fact that whole prop might be based off a box from a heating pad or electric blanket.
That very top part, that looks like a square, with a little thing protruding from the top, that looks like 1/2 of an old clasp, the kind on an old case of some sorts.
I think the top part looks like the read/write head from a VCR.
The rocker switch could also be from a VCR, but that's just speculation. Looks easy to scratch build.

That rocker switch looks so familiar to me. I have an image in my head of flicking one back and forth when I was very young but I can't for the life of remember where.... :confused
the rocker switch part looks like an old TV antenna rotor control...probably only those who lived in the country and had no cable would know what that is.
