getting that toe and heel combination might be a bit tricky.

I saw those.. but cant stand the exaggerated pointed toes.. especially when Im planing on being on my feet all day. UGH!

Have you looked at buying the shoe and adding the upper portion? To me they look like that what was done by the costume department, it may just be the style though. The first thing that comes to mind for the uppers is deerskin.

that's what I ended up doing for mine - couldn't find boots in the right style and in my price range, so I'm added upper sections to a pair of boots I already have.
