I second Dan Laws Snow and Commander i have gotten both from Dan.
I have not seen Moncal but i belive the backpack of Dan is bigger if i am not mistaken.
But ensure you got the parts in the same quality thickness and colour from Dan.
The snowtrooper kit i got was of two different colour parts and thickness.
I am waiting on replacement parts from Dan to make it complete and uniform. He have been very plesent and answered all my mails. And he is really interested in fixing the problem as fast as possible.
I personally like the
snowtrooper armor with a tone of yellow/grey not all white (not to shiny)
For the commander i must be all white and shiny.

The armor had two different thickness are now beeing fixed.
I personally think the plastic was to thin for the armor. HOWEVER. The details on the armor is FANTASTIC and its because of the thickness. But my personal opinion is that the armor should be a bit thicker for quality and it whould only loose some details but it whould still be sharper than the original. The snowtrooper are usually doing more more action phoses in the conventions by kneeling and so on. I rate 4 out of 6 because i dont like it glossy and the fact it got two different thicknesses and colours in same kit.
Armor colour:
The kit came in two different colours. White and shiny (thin plastic) & Thicker white flat colour with yellow tone.
I preffer the thicker flat white with yellow tone. It more sturdy and the details are still good. Again this comes down to prefference.
I personally think that the snowtrooper kit should never been shipped when the quality of the plastic was in so big difference thickness and colour variation) When Dan fix this then i will rate it as a thumbsup:thumbsup thumbsup:thumbsup 6 out of 6.

The came in one thickness same as the white gloss on the snowtrooper kit. For this kit i think that the thickness is ok. I conclude that because the commander is not as ACTIVE in running and doing Action phoses in the conventions.
Armor colour:

The only constructive improvements are; promised delivery dates, and to ensure the buyer get an uniform armor in coloration and thickness. But last is now beeing fixed and this counts allot and when deliverd i will rate DAN to be the best source to go to for this costume based on previouse testimonial and product quality.
