Where is the best place to buy good paint?

On another note...aside from the obvious places, where is the best place to find a good collection of paints/ dyes/ (what else would you use) for bringing a prop to life?

I was reading the Krylon thread and picked up a few pointers, but any tips for a new guy would be appreciated!

For most of my prop stuff, I lean toward the automotive brands like Plasticote and Duplicolor. You can usually find them in the automotive section of stores like Wal-Mart, but they can also be found at automotive supply stores, such as Autozone or Pep Boys.
