Whenever we get snow in Maryland, I have to watch the movies Where Eagles Dare. It just seems right for the weather conditions. One prop I would like to get, is a repro. of the timing/trip wire device on their explosives.
The bundle it self is simple to make but the device would be a nice addition.
Any thoughts?

Dang, been a while since I have watched that movie, now I need to get it. I can vaguely recall the look of the devices.

Here's quick one...I'll try to find some later.
This film is DEFINETLY on my TOP 10 FAVORITE films.
Here's a good website if you're a fan of the film.

Also, make sure to pick up the Cinema Retro magazine special on the film.

Another fan here.
I already have an M38 helmet, I got it because of the "Carentan" episode of BoB, but they wear them in this movie aswell.

This is also one of my favorite films and now is the best time of the year to watch it!

As for the explosive device, does any one in the UK recognize any of the components?

SEG..NS.Can't make anything from the center letters.
But true, Where eagles dare is one of the best war films. Belongs also to my movie collections.
Just a little bite of realism was with that helicopter...But that was just cool.
