Where can I find short round's yankee cap?

I seem to be having trouble finding shorty's yankee cap from TOD. Does anyone know a source of even the style name???

It's actually a NY Giants cap, rather than a Yankees cap.

You might have an easier time finding a close enough Yankees hat though.

We've been working on this at Indygear.com for a while now, but as the earlier post states, the best vendor we had has gone belly-up, so there is currently no vendor that can provide you the EXACT hat.

You'd have to have it custom made. Let us know how you fare with that.

Looks like if you want to be as accurate as possible with something commercially available, you could buy the New York Giants 1931 version from the link above. It has the proper color visor, and you could put your own pinstripes on it with a fabric marker or Ultrafine Sharpie, and darken the logo, and you'd be there.

PS - Is it just me, or does Travis Jackson look like Tommy Lee Jones?

I bought my 1917 and 1919 White Sox (8 Men Out) hats from Dugout Memories...they are American Needle caps, and of fine quality....:cool

I take that back. Looking at the photo of the correct one pictured above, the visor on the 1931 model is much too light a blue. Good ebay score!

It's next to impossible to find this cap now, I've been trying for months and months now. :( Anybody willing to part with theirs? :)

This is the closest I've found...so BUMP! I wonder if INDY MAGNOLI would be interested in making these? Here's some caps from TOD to help with the hunt.

Curious bump. I would actively wear this if I found it.

Woah! Blast from the past! Well, as I recieved my answer nearly 11 years ago when I first asked the question, it's still nice to thought of. Thanks!
