we split the cost and now have 2 each..

Are those the accurate bases for the bridge chairs? If they are, you GOTTA tell us what you gave for them.

The bridge chairs in TOS had the X-shaped bases. Still a great find, though! :thumbsup

Thanks, Pilot! :)

I can't point to those chairs for sure but they seem to have used TABLES with those bases. So it might be possible that some of the chairs are in there.

If anybody asks they are "Starbase" chairs. :lol

Hate to say it but even those bases are not really what I've seen. The trumpet bases on most Trek stuff is a downward slope. I have one of those tables and two chairs.

S7's chairs seem to have a raised curve and the seats don't show the four bolt head that stick up thorugh a Genuine Burke Chair.

Still look darn close though.

:lol

I grew up in the mid- and late '60s eating at a dining room table and chair set very close (if not identical) to the chairs and tables used on the show. The chair included a black cushion on the seat (but, of course, not the extended black backrest). The base was X-shaped, but chromed. The table had an X-base, too.

That dining room set still exists at my parents' house, along with some original Tsing Tao-type shot glasses.
