What should i get my wife for her B-day?

My wife's birthday is in the beginning of April. I want to get her something REALLY cool. I'm usually pretty good at gift-giving, but this time, I want it to be FREAKING SWEET. I'm looking for suggestions as to what to get...either buy it from a dealer/store or have it made/commissioned. I've posted this thread in the prop forum because I'm thinking along the lines of a prop-related item, however (mods) if it belongs elsewhere, please move it. My wife is really into BSG (new series), Harry Potter, Narnia, LOTR (especially), Angel and Buffy. She already has the White Witch's Wand (MR), Buffy's Stake (Factory X), a bunch of LOTR stuff, but nothing from BSG or HP. I'd like to have something made for her, or at least partially made (i.e. custom packaging for a retail purchased item). I'm open to suggestions and ideas from anyone but especially those who might be looking to get some work commissioned. My price range is in the $100-200 mark. We try to keep b-day spending to a minimum. Christmas is where the insane spending occurs. Plus, we're looking at starting a family by next year, so this b-day may be the last pre-offspring fling. Forgive the length of this post, i've been drinking.

I think nothing says like you care than something from Juno. The detail on her items are wonderful. My wife has enjoyed her works very much.

If you don't already have it, see if you can nab a copy of the LOTR map files from either hydin or Gytherian. Take the file down to Kinko's or another print shop and have it printed on some nice parchment paper. Get it custom framed or frame it yourself; it'll run about $60 to get the parts for the frame and do it yourself (if you use plexiglass, about $15 if you don't).

Not only is the map a nifty prop, but it was designed and drawn by Adam Savage (asavage on this board) of MythBuster fame. That just makes it a doubly cool gift.

I don't want to take any business away from RPF members, but if you are looking for BSG items then ASAP is the place to go. They seem to have a stronger BSG community there.

I second Tekmage3000's suggestion of checking with Juno. She has some absolutly beautiful Harrp Potter and Narnia pieces. I love her reproduction on the Tumnus arrest letter from Maugrim. Awe inspiring work.

Hey... at least you have a month to work at it. I usually begin my shopping two to three days before :p

i gotta agree with the map idea.

i cant think of anything offhand that really constitutes "awesome birthday gift" out of the list of movies and tv, but a nice framed map would be kinda cool. maybe check with adam and see if he can sign it (if shes a mythbuster fan).

id go with the guy that juno has for the parchment/brown ink one though. if the parchment is tea colored enough, then it should work out great.
