No, I have no intention of building Marlon Wayans Gi JOE battle suit, no wait a minute I stand corrected, "ACCELERATOR SUIT"! :lol Just in case anyone was going to blow me some you know what!

But I noticed the buckles on the side of his suit are identical to the one's used on Wesley Snipes Original "BLADE" vest. I'd like to go back and tweek this detail on my own Blade vest and wonder if someone could point me in the right direction on where to find this type of buckle. Any help would be awesome! :thumbsup

THX

:cheers

That is a Stubai Buckle. A real item from Austria for Skydiving / rockclimbing.

Several styles made over the years.

AWESOME HELP! So with that said, I probably could just do an internet search and find a dealer that carries them?

Yeah. No wonder movies cost 150 plus mill to make now. lol

Why can't movie prop guys use the cheap stuff more often!

50 bucks for a buckle, thats pretty cheap in movie terms, especially considering how much they spend on these costumes.... although as anyone who has seen what 'Cobra Commander' looks like, money can't buy creativity.

if you can find them get them- stubai buckles are hard to come by.

They usually make the black ones - but they don't make the silver ones anymore. (at least I thought they didnt)

They were also used for the Blade 1 vest and they are highly sought after.

Looks more like a Cobra buckle to me. Same basic type, but slightly different.

This is the dual adjust version. The more common one is the single adjust.

These are still a bit pricey, but not as bad as the Stubai. They run about $30.
