What is this?

Aassuming it is a SW piece, could it be one of the Millinium Falcon tools?

I don't think it's what Katarn is holding on the cover...he has a broken droid arm in his hand, and the droid arm is holding a data disk. Look closer at the picture...

I don't think it's anything remotely Star Wars. That logo isn't anywhere near anything that licencees have ever used. Looks like that "Star Vader" font. ...unless it was a prototype made for bid or something.

Im with you on that Jay.

Well that for one.

2. I have a vague memory of seeing one on eBay.

3. The guy that gave it to me said whoever was selling thought it was.

It looks very General Grevious to me. There is lots of EU stuff out there. Not familar with it at all.

reminds me of those various 'house of knives' type stores that sell items "based on" movie properties. Some of the stuff they have just has a logo thrown on it.

Can we get a clean shot of the logo on the base, does it look really sharp? Is there anything on the back or side (item or base) that tells you it's a Lucasfilm copyrighted item? and what year?

Didn't someone say that all the Prequel props had a serial number on them or something? If there isn't one on there you know it's not from the Prequels.

Yep, After filming they where labeled for the archives. But I've NEVER seen anything like that in the movies.

As someone else mentioned i think it looks like a "Fantasy " knife offered by an outfit like Bud-k or similer type store.

i did a quick look and didn't find any matching it on their site.

i don't think it is an actual prop to be handled by actors or it wouldn't need the plastic tubing covering the sharp blades.

if it is a movie based replica it looks more like a predator type weapon from one of the flicks.
