What is the oldest project on your bench?

As I sat down to work on my E.T. Communicator a bit today, I began to wonder what projects people have had on their workbench for ridiculously long times, and for how long?


So here is my longest running project, I've been collecting parts for about 15 years.

You've got me beat. I have to only start one thing at a time and I've had my Endor rifle going off and on, for about two years. Should have some pics soon.
 
I was going to say my Equilibrium airsoft kit until I saw that last post. I guess it would have to be my ESB Han Solo costume, which is going on 4 years now.
 
I have to admit with great shame my oldest project is the RPF blaster offered here when the sun was young. :$

I start it, don't like the finish, strip it, leave it, pick it up again...oh hell maybe before I die I'll finish it.
 
Robocop peter weller sculpt, don't know how long i've been working on and off with it, at least a couple of years, good thing its a plastilene sculpt or it would have bit the dust ages ago
 
My Mancubus project. I started this moments before I left the pro prop-making world; Afterwards, I changed my carreer completely, and gave me some time to settle it down. It's been six years now, and the poor ba****d is still in his carboard box...

Anyway, I think I'm gonna re-start it soon...
 
I've got a custom lightsaber I've been fiddling with for about a year. If something sits aorund longer than that, I usually sell off what I've started or toss it or whatever. Once I lose momentum, it's usually all over for me. But sometimes I come back to things.
 
Sandtrooper backpack. Going on year 4 now lol though its FINALLY almost done. I never wanted to just build from random parts . Wanted it to look a little closer to accurate. Though now there are parts available that werent 4 years ago. So I keep getting distracted by that and buying parts to replace other parts to replace other parts :/

I finally had to stop doing that and actually put the stupid thing together. Photobucket seems to be acting a fool today so I dont wanna attempt to post the picture and have it just red X or slow down the thread trying to load...
 
Physically still on my bench? Light panel from behind the drivers seat in the BTTF Delorean. Been there for going on 3 years now. I have projects I've been collecting parts for that are around 8-10 years old and research on projects I've barely touched that's at least 12 years. :rolleyes
 
Crest Cavity fighters, Cavity creep , CrestMobile . Just need to find generic cockpit parts for them. Always loved the commericals and have many cels/drawings. Just want to do them and and about half of the toothopolis to mount on the wall. need to get going on them , they are straight forward.

My Rocketeer Rocketpack has been on my bench for about 4 years. :sick

I hope to do a great deal of work on it this summer.
