What is the history of: The Elstree (Missing cave scene) ROTJ reveal saber?

The only saber they show is this one:

Other than that it has all been speculation to the origins of these "reveal" sabers.

After reading about all the great work put into this prop, in the previous topic, I wondered if I had ever really ever seen this used in an out-take or maybe on some obscure DVD or game extra somewhere. Or had I only imagined it?

What is the History of the real prop/props and did we ever get to see them?

They're fakes sold by the current owner's of Elstree Props. Elstree claims they were for the lightsaber building scene cut from ROTJ. This has been proven false (like many other claims Elstree has made in recent years about other fake props they've sold or tried to sell).

The real lightsaber used in the cave scene was the Luke ROTJ hero prop seen on display at various exhibits like The Magic of Myth. It was modified to have a slid open control box for the scene.
