...because it's slowing my page loads dramatically.

I'm running Firefox with the wide-screen style and various ad blockers though even with those disabled it still slows it down, so I doubt it's that.

Saw that too.
It seems something is wrong when loading the page, as the loading process never stops, i.e. the "spinning wheel" in my Firefox tab never stops spinning.

Also, I get tons of internal server errors when trying to use the search function...

Insights is a real-time analytics service that shows us what is going on inside the site. It is similar to Google Analytics, but where Google Analytics focuses more on the external, Insights focuses on the internal.

Their site seems to be having issues right now, so we have disabled that plugin until they get their situation resolved.

Yeah I notice it really slowing down the site over the last week or so, took care of it on my end... One of the drawbacks to using an external system to track a site, it all started with those hit counters...

When you guys see things like this, especially if it is affecting your experience on the site, it would be greatly appreciated if you would mention it to us. Unless we are experiencing slow downs ourselves, we don't know what is happening on your end if you don't speak up.

If it was constant I likely would bring it up, but what I was noticing was simply intermittent and what I would expect from an off site service every so often... I just chalked it up to normal issues with off site linking...
