What Have I Done To My Luke ESB Saber?!

Hey guys, been working on converting my ESB Graflex for electronics for around 3-4 months now and I've come very close to completion.

Here's some preliminary photos. Now this Graflex ain't too pretty, I've had it converted to an ESB version for at least 6 years now and I always wanted to give her a blade and electronics.

That dream finally came true. The paint on the chassis is beginning to scratch off in places so I'll most likely touch that up at some point, and perhaps make some more fancy little greeblies to go into the crystal chamber area.

For now, though, I'm pretty happy.

Very cool! The fact that you can open it to reveal the guts puts it over the top!

Wow, cool sound card (the electronics)?
Were did you get it,

:cool :)

I got the soundboard from Tim at The Custom Saber Shop. It was tough to get, they've been out of stock and at the production facility for bug fixes and such.

Tim got a few back in and I was lucky enough to snag one.

She’s beautiful, is the sound board from The Custom Saber Shop in anyway superior to an FX board? I'm considering starting the project by hollowing a beat up FX I have ....

Once again Great Work!

Yeah the Ultrasound is much nicer than an MR IMO. You can adjust the sensitivity for clash and motion, the blade can flicker if you want it to, all that good stuff.

Watch that last video I posted and you'll see how the setup works.

Great Graflica, Dann. The crystal chamber really does add something to it, a la Yoda's chassis.

Darklighter, the Ultrasound v2.1 is a great soundboard, far superior to the MR FX boards by virtue of their programability of volume, amperage (to drive different LEDs), and light effects. In fact, in my own opinion as far as lightsaber soundboards go the USv2.1 is second only to the Crystal Focus v4.1 (which is much, much more rare --*incredibly* so).

Do you have to go through that menu every time it starts up? I know you referred to it as the setup, but just wanting to know for certain. Looks and sounds great, I want to upgrade a F/X Maul pretty bad.

No you don't have to go through the setup every time. It remembers what u set.

:lol that was sorta the idea, to get people to think "Oh no, what HAS he done!?"
