Here's mine... it's smooth and cosy. Not much air though.

Nice! Is that pipe insulation? Gotta try that. I went the hard way and made shaped foam panels and covered them in black cotton. Covered the whole interior of the helmet with a layer of material before fixing the pads with hot glue. Pics coming soon!

Wow that looks very nice and soft. :) Besides who needs air any way. :confused Great job by the way.

it's a pipe insulation yes, but it's got really small pores, and feels like artificial skin, not like regular foam pipe insulation. You can pick it up at home depot right next to the other stuff, but it's 5X as much.

the rest of the inside is sprayed on rubber.

I'm currently working on outfitting my new TM bucket, but here's a pic of my FX interior. Nothing fancy, just foam shapes of varying thicknesses held in place with industrial velcro.

MjolnirArmor, that's actually quite ingenius. By the looks of it, it looks as if you have two open pockets at the top of your helmet...helps the heat rise and keeps it off your head. :thumbsup

Here are some pics of my first TK helmet I have done about 10 years ago.

The Stormtrooper bucket I sold a couple years ago to rudolpht, but I still loved the buildup I did. The Fett, I still have mounted atop my ESB suit.

My FX TK bucket has little padding to speak of, but it has the adjustable inner support cradle from a construction hardhat. I thought all of them used that system - surprised to see the foam! reminds me of my racing helmet.

Hm... wonder if you could remove the inner liner from a motorcycle helmet and apply in into a TK bucket? You can find old out of spec helmets at thrift stores for like $10-

Here's a couple of my RT-Mod:

Nothing too fancy right now but I'm upgrading the padding soon
