Incredible!
After this project got sidetracked waiting on a few real world parts, finally have holes drilled and the 4(5? I didn’t check) cell bottom can cut and drilled, as well as some of the parts prepped. Now I can start assembling. The kobold clip is one of the “flipped” ones, but it wasn’t bothersome enough to go find a different one. So close to being done with the Vader shelf!

Currently on the bench: a modified DLT-19X in progress. So much more to do! Among other minor changes, this will be about 8 inches shorter than the full-length MG34 style, an intentional decision as I like to customize things and not make exact replicas. It includes three feet of 1/2"/13mm steel rod for both support and weight.

Slow progress. Having a 1 year old, only get about 30 minutes a day to work on it. But I'm learning a lot of new techniques and using products I've never tried before.

Mandalorian hand armor plates. Printed in solid ASA and now scarred and painted/weathered.
I keep walking past this “project-in-limbo” in my basement and try to ignore it…
