Weta Gandalf Staff

So, I just received my staff and I received 900/1000.The only problem is it arrived cracked in two places which is unfortunate. But I'm getting it replaced free of charge through the distributor. I'm just wondering if anyone else had this problem, I know that it's been an issue with the UC Staff but I've heard nothing of the WETA one. I was planning on taking it out for a spin every once in a while with my cosplay. But it doesn't look like that will be happening after this discovery.

Is there a wall plate for the WETA staff? I have the staff from UC, but I visited a atroe for LOTR and Hobbit merchandise on saturday, there was a staff which looked a lot better than my staff (like real wood without this shiny finish) but with the same wall plate than my UC. So does the WETA or Noble staff have the same wall plate? Just want to make sure that all UC staffs look like my staff...

The WETA Gandalf staff comes with just a small black metal bracket (no wall plaque/plate).

Thanks... Looks like it WAS the UC staff I saw in the shop... Why my staff looks so glossy?!? I really like that wood colour finish...

Just got my second staff shipped. For some reason the weta staffs just crack while simply handling for some reason (and by handling i don't mean slamming it on the ground and beating it off walls). To my shock after handling it a little for while then setting it down. I came back to find multiple hairline cracks all around the bottom 3rd of the staff I do not understand what is up with the "tough strong fiber glass" the claim these are made of.

I will have to look at the bottoms of both my Weta Gandalf's and Radagast's staves..Tho I only unboxed them to check for damage then boxed them back up
