Wested or magnoli Indy shirt?

Just wondered what everyone's opinion was on this.
For what I need, the fit and material are probably a little more important than getting something that's 200% screen accurate. Feedback most welcome!

The Wested's a nice shirt, but used to have somewhat tight sleeves. Don't know if the present-day Wested still has this problem (mine is a 1st gen). It's also a bit light (as perceived in the Cairo scenes in Raiders).

As for fit, the Magnoli is made-to measure. Can't go wrong there (as long as you provide your correct measurements;)). Several colors to choose from. Not bad, screen-accuracy-wise either...

Wow...ask and you shall receive. Thanks for the info! To be honest, unless folks were raving about the wested, I think my inclination is to go for Indy, as I know his tailoring is excellent.

I personally own a Todd's shirt myself. I think I owned 5 of them but gave 2 to a friend as they were way too large for me.

Never owned a Magnoli, but the Wested shirt, doesn't feel like a shirt. Maybe I'm just used to my 100% soft cotton shirts, but Wested does not feel like cotton.

The Wested pants, however, are very nice.

I know exactly what you mean - that was the impression I got from the Todds shirt on ebay, just judging from that one picture alone. I might be completely wrong on that one though.

Don't limit your choices to just those 2.

There are lots of other options:

AB Adventurebilt from Marc very, very good.

Todds costumes, gets good reports but I've never had one.

Wested, is ok for the less athletic it is not 100 cotton more 65/35 cotton/manmade, results in a slightly lower maintenance shirt, colour is a bit light and some details are a bit simplified.

The creme de la creme was the Noel Howard, if you can find one - buy it. It was the closest out there. He had an original to match for many years.

I've seen and felt a Mag, it's a little bit too brushed cotton for my taste, would probably make a good CS style.

The NH looks really dark doesn't it? Rewatch the banto wind "It Hurts!" sequence, you'll see!
