Weird Prop Details You can't Unsee

Working on the Jango helmet I'm currently building out got me to thinking...what weird prop irregularities did you have "a-ha" moments with? What weirdness did you never notice before, but now that you've seen them, you can't help but notice and can't believe you never saw it before?

A few of mine -

The hole in the Jango helmet where the dental piece is at on the Boba (on the right cheek)

the weird "bump" along the edge of the inset on the TOS Comms

the gunmetal receiver on the BR blaster (though I suppose certain people always did argue that it was that color).

The oval shapes on the Biker Scout pistols barrel. I've never seen them replicated.

The word "UGLY" on the Enterprise D model. I didn't know about it until after I finished the ERTL kit, but now I can't help but see it.

I don't have a picture on hand, but to quote GKvfx,
The fantail of the 6' Enterprise D model integrated the word 'ugly' amongst the panels. This 'feature' was not replicated on the 4' model and was likely erradicated when the 6' was made over for "Generations."

Since the 6' model was only used for the first 2 1/2 seasons, I doubt there is a shot of it.

Ironically, the drawings that were included in the instructions of the ERTL model kit did replicate the letter 'G' from the word 'ugly'. So I guessed they did base those things on the real model.

If you do have the ERTL kit, it's on the left nacelle arm (where it's still flat) of the star drive section, above where the "Enterprise" decal goes... look closely at the plating details.

That, and the wild asymmetry of the helmet. When I got my first helmet I was pissed that I had gotten a "bad pull". :lol Since then, (and, I'm sure I'm not alone) I've come to love it, and it's definitely one of the characteristics that make it so beautiful to us Vader-heads.

Add another to the list.

Same here!

In fact, with some people, I've asked them what colour Vaders Helmet is (While I'm wearing it) They usually say 'black'. When I ask them to look again, they almost always do a double take, and then I explain the paint scheme..

In the premiere of the original Battlestar Galactica, you can clearly read the words "-UCK OFF" (with and "F") in the city lights on the surface of Caprica as the Cylon ships start their attack runs.

In fact, you can see it even more clearly in the Battlestar Galactica photonovel still image of that scene.

And directly on props, or sets as the case may be, there's a rear-shot of Matt LeBlanc sitting in the pilot chair of the LIS movie just at the end when they're about to punch a random hyperspace destination... you can see the horrid finish on the chair... huge sandpaper marks and what looks like somebody had about 5 minutes to finish the chair so they said, "forget the spot-filler... just paint it, nobody will ever see that".

Oh, and in LOTR when they are all sleeping in the Forest Elven city... there's a close-up of Billy Boyd with his head on a pillow in the lower right side of the screen as Frodo (I think) steps silently past on his way to the seeing pond. The SEAM on the pillow is right in your face. HUGE machine stitching lines in a printed cotton pillowcase where the pattern doesn't exactly match up. Its totally a nit-pick, I know, but fer crying out loud... this is ELVEN BED LINENS... shouldn't they be PERFECT?

I dunno. It always bugs me when I watch the film.

A friend of mine were looking at a display that contained a screenused Vader helmet. He's staring right at it and I point out the two-tone, and suddenly, Sokath, his eyes uncovered!
