Weighted Companion Cube (Picture Intensive)

Hey guys, I just wanted to show you what my girlfriend made me for our anniversary. I already posted this on Reddit, but I knew you guys would enjoy a more in depth look into the build. And yeah, I know Portal is an older game, but I think it's a game that held up very well. So without stalling longer...
(PS: I hope Photobucket holds up!)

And the lovely lady who made this with her own two hands! (And for some reason has put up with me!)

oooohhh, I've always wanted one of those! (I actually started another thread on whether anyone has made one of these =P). She did a great job, and you're one lucky guy! Err, for having her as a gf. :lol

Spectacular!

On another RPF thread (search "companion cube" to find it - I don't know how to cross-link or if it's allowed), some of us were discussing the cube and a photo of your build was posted. Thanks for the additional build pictures - truly fantastic work!

Awesome! I'm sure it was a labor of love, but I'd wager to bet she could make a few bucks on the side making a few of these and selling them. Cool project and a really nice looking finished product, congrats!~

Oh she said it was worth it. I know she could sell them, there are only a few issues though.

1. Its really freaking heavy. I would wager it is around 50-70 pounds

2. It's really build intensive.

3. She said for her to make it worth her while, she would need to charge around $600. I am not sure if anyone would pay that, considering the game is older. But I'm sure when Portal 2 gets released, people might be interested!
