Weebo from "Flubber"

yeah it's pretty crazy all the stuff you can do with raspberry pi or any micro-controller for that matter.....sure is a step up from back in the day, when we were tearing apart rc cars and nintendo power gloves!! lol

Wow !!!!!!! You're making an actual robot, not just a prop.

Started drawing her up in 3D.. Hopefully she will be mostly printable..

Progress... Turning her into an assembly. You can see my theory for the ear hinge mechs. They will pulled with a servo and ball link system.

Re: Weebo from "Flubber"

I added a few servos today and the printer. You can see all of the mechanisms along with the servos opening and closing their parts. The printer is the white box mounted at an angle. This allows room for the servo to open the main lid, but the printed will still dispense a photo. Adding Flash mech soon along with LCD and controllers and some other things.

Re: Weebo from "Flubber"

Unfortunately I had to make the main interior frame out of aluminium for support of the ears and inside components. The 3D printed version just wouldn't hold up.
