Watchmen props

and anybody attempted to do the zippo?
CTF?:)

is 1941 zippo the correct model?
i bought the replica, quite identical but missing some few details than the screen used i think, the top part is less rounder and a little tall:)confused) and the inside,i dont know the names but it can be compared with screen used zippo to look at.
btw the original 1941 zippo goes around $100 but with a little luck theres some goes only around $40

Hm. I've only seen it once, so I must be wrong. I do have an oversized movie theater poster of the Comedian lighting his cigar with a flamethrower, and it doesn't have the rubber trim and seems to have a nick out of the one tag visible.

The Comedian started out in the 1940's as a US soldier- the dogtags at that time had a notch cut out of them, and in the WWII era, the rubber silencers were not yet in use, but were by the time of the Vietnam war, so both versions could actually be accurate.

I find the wording of the dogtags odd- it's not the usual layout of U.S. tags, but then, this IS an alternate reality, so some differences are to be expected, I guess.

Isn't showing the nipples nudity? Its against the RPF's rules to post nudity or pornographic things.
Forgive me,Just trying to obey the rules and trying to find out if that nudity even if you can see through her shirt.

Well if that is the case, they can just use a bar over the nipples and show us what they've done. I don't think selling a run of them would be equivalent to distributing pornography, but I guess I could be wrong...

the 1941 zippo should be easy to obtained in the US,but we still dont have the correct image of sally: the boots's "shine",right leg shoe lace, hair, etc. or it would be like that when it is etched to the lighter? :confused and it losing her nipple?:lol

The writing is no problem.

According to armydogtags.com that was the REAL information stamped during WWII (read my previous post here about the tags:))

You could probably get away with water slide decal paper, or self adhesive transparency or something.

Wow. We've you been all my life?

You thinking about doing a run? i bet these would go FAST!

Yeah, I would have thought so too but so far no one's asked to buy any. They're for sale over here:

Java was kind enough to whip these up in a hurry and doubly-kind enough to give me the go-ahead to recast. Typically I'm no fan of recasting but under the circumstances ( and with his permission ) I have them for sale.

Have you considered acid etching? What material is the lighter?
