HEY rpf. This is my first thread but ive been a long time lurker, even before i made my account.
So... This summer i was amazed by all of the talent and dedication that is being put into all these iron man suits. so i decided to whip one up and it ended up looking pretty hideous. :lol

It was freehand cardboard and the helmet was Sharkhead's. but it was my first attempt at pepping anything. and making anytype of costume.:unsure

so i did another helmet right before halloween just because i messed up bigtime on the first....

thats a dungbeetle^^

and right now i am currently working on sculpting my next helmet. and a Mark IV foam suit.

Its blue foam camping mats. :love
Im using modified pep files that Robo has made, and that my friend Vagabond has made into larger pieces that can be used easily with the foam...

I used the templates for the chest and back. and freehanded the arms!:love

Looks real good should have templates for the shoulders and abs done tomarrow, then to the challenging parts of the suit templates.

I freehanded the shoulders. but if i like your templates, Ill probably redo them.

they are pretty simple.

Okay. so i put two layers of mod podge on all of the completed parts, and now im in the proccess of painting. i need to go pick up more paint.

oh and i also put together a pair of shoes. ill take some pics once i get them looking less awkward haha.:lol

okay so i just have to coat the entire Legs in Mod Podge. and i still have to construct the Cod and the Abs.
they abs might just be foamies for improved mobility :lol

Wow that is impressive. Is the grey or silver on the arms and stuff primer or the color you're going with instead of gold or yellow.

its just white spray paint.
i didnt have any primer so i had to use that.
i ran out of red so some areas are still white:lol
but just got back from the store so ill be modpodging and painting tonight!
