Warhammer 40K Tau Pulse Rifle Completed

Hey all, just finished this puppy, made of $8 of 2x4's, $30 paint, and a month's work, any comments and suggestions are welcome!

Oh, and it's 5 Feet long :cool

Looks pretty good, but should some of the wide areas not be quite a bit thinner?
The handgrip, for one?

If I were to guess it'd be around 30-ish I think, it does make for a good posing piece, even though it's a simple job, I'm just happy that I got to make something, I can't compete with the things everybody else makes.

Like they said, looks a little thick...

On the other hand, the best WH40K costumes/props I see look very much "miniature-in-large" -- in other words, no effort is made to make them look "realistic" but instead they are made to look like giant-sized copies of the minis. Like the Ultramarine armor from the last NYCC.
