Thank you Wiggs! I've actually looked over all of Sylgian's images multiple times through the build. His build has been a great inspiration, and so has yours! I think I'm starting to get the hang of it now... I bought a bunch of electrical piping that I can heat and form to create the internal skeleton. It's waaaaay better than my previous method, and I think I can finally get this thing properly rigged.
If I do get it rigged properly, I'll make sure to take tons of pictures of the inside so people can see exactly how it's put together. That way hopefully I can save someone else from the headache I've had for the past two weeks.
As for your question about the helmet. Yup! Just sanding, caulking and plasti-dipping! Since foam is thick, you don't really have to worry about sanding through the material, so I just went nuts with the sander until it was as smooth as I could get it, then it's just a matter of caulking all the seams several times until you're satisfied. I've seen your build dude, those seams will be completely invisible once you sand it and caulk it. I'll race you to the finish!
