Finished my War Machine for an event held May 14. Literally finished it as I loaded it in my car. Made it out of Cut up trashcans (small round ones for legs) hot glued onto foamies, old Hockey helmets for shoulders, black vinyl sled, tap light, 2 clear plastic measuring cups, kids working machine guns, detergent bottles, work-out mat foam. I ran out of time to make a gatling gun so I took the one off of my U.S. War Machine.

I will make the paint job darker but only had this paint available at the time to use prior to the show. That's my Iron man and Black Spiderman there also.

WoW that War Machine Is A Monster. Very big and Tank like. I love it Bro. Good job

Monteburns, Thanks.

Sean,

Thanks bud. I have been waiting to see your WM!

I also still need to finish the shoulders, cod and waist area, add more size to legs, make an accurate Gatling gun, detailing, etc.

Great job on these! I'll bet the kids all went nuts when they saw these. Did any of them get to hyper? You know how kids are.... gettin' their little "jam" hands all over you and wanting to see if they get your attention. aghhhh their cute little runny noses!

Paul,
I've been walking around Walmart so much lately looking for IM parts that the wife thinks I'm having an affair. Picked up the big Downey bottle and trying to figure out how to make arms.
That War Machine ROCKS!

Was that DoD day at the Andrews Joint Services Open House airshow? The displays look familiar - I was there to see the Blue Angels on Sunday!

Costumes look great! Bet you were a big hit with the kids.

Paul,

I know. I ran out of time and I will be increasing the size of the thighs, finishing the waist/groin area also. Helmet is from Phantom Prophet and it Rocks!! I have a 24.5 inch head and it fits with room to spare.

Junebei,

The scuffs on the IM helmet are ment to be there. I put them on with a silver leafing pen. Did the same to other parts of the armors to look a bit worn. Thanks.

EricTank,

You are correct on the venue and days. Those pics were taken over the course of 3 days there.

Awesome costume man.

I like the scuffs. War machine shouldn't be all pretty and perfect.

Mine is gonna be dry brushed aswell.

Can't wait to see the arsenal upgrades.

Awesome work :D
I just noticed Iron man and war mchine have no armor in the gloves.\
You could try snd use foamies or painted resined cardboard to give it some extra protection
