Want to Make my LEDs Flicker!

Okay, here's a pic with the shrink sleeve cut off. What do you think? The second pic is a close up of the circuit that we think is the converter.

Hi MythMaker,

Have you tried putting a 9V battery on the two wires (Red positive and black negative) and can you show a picture
of the back side of the boards including the round LED board?

I cut off the converter circuit and connected the battery pack directly to the flicker circuit, switch, and LEDs - SUCCESS! I think I just use this for now, but I'll be back to do a smaller version of the watch using the Arduino/Adafruit/Neopixel stuff. Will post a video to show you guys the watch working with the flickering!

NICE!
Have you tried your strip of LEDs in place of the original?
Also, can you take a quick video of the working circuit you have now?
Thanks.

Bumpity, bump.
Have you taken a video of your LED setup and will it work with your LED strip?

Here is a short video of my effort to make a wrist LED light using the 8 Neopixel LED ring, Arduino electronics and battery:
One thing about NEOPIXEL Leds, they only require 5vDC.
