Hey,

I`ve already made me a Predator Bio. Now I want to make me a undermask. At the forum I´ve seen a lot of pics, but I have no idea, how to make them. I also couldn`t find a tutorial. Can anybody help me and give me a few hints?

I ordered me liquid latex and I thought I could make me the undermask with it. My first idea was to make a model out of paper and the cover it with latex. But I haven`t found any Pepakura files. Is there an relativly easy way to make a sculpture, which I could cover with latex? I hope this helps specify my problem.

In the last days I`ve read a lot about building masks. I only have one little problem. When I`ve made a sculpture of the predator I will make a negative of this sculpture. But when I fill the liquid for the negative in the mouth, how can I get it out of the mouth without destroying the sculputre? When I simply pull it out the mouth will be damaged.

when molding a sculpture almost all undercuts get destroyed. you pretty much always have to pull clay out of your mold.

your from colorado? give me some advice! im from Colorado as well and i don't want to buy from online were do i but Liquid latex and permawet?

first off, i buy all my supplies online except for a few things i pick up at Meiningers.
i use monstermakers for most of my supplies

well if you are looking to go the latex mask way, theres bascially two ways. they both involve sculpting it out of clay
one way i have seen done. and kind of what you seem to be talking about, is to sculpt the predator head out of clay.
brush latex on to the sculpt and then peel it off. you can only do a thin layer in order to see the details. like this guys tut

the other way is a more professional way to do it, but is alot more involved and more expensive.
