Wand Communicator battery replacement

My Wand Communicator seems to have a dead battery which I heard can be an issue. I charged it and the stand glowed with the blue light that is was fully charged but it's not turning on. I found a tutorial on how to replace the battery and bought the battery. Has anyone else has this happen?

I've only had it happen once but yes, I have had to replace a battery before.

Yes, this happened to me as well. There's 1 person on eBay who sells the right battery and a few tutorials on YouTube for changing it, which is quite easy.

Make sure it has the connection on the wires so you can plug it straight into the comm, otherwise you're messing around with wires.

Be careful of the 2 hair thick copper wires when you're taking the mid plate out, if they come off it's a pain to put them back.

Search YouTube, there is a good battery replacement vid on there.
