So excited!!! Stuff finally started coming in for my Rick costume!!! Today got my first pieces, QM shirt and my first, of what looks like is gonna be my 3, Pythons LOL!!! I ordered two different airsofts one black with wood grips and one silver with black grips hoping to swap the grips, before Akin informed me I couldn't and before the ebay silver and wood one was posted so looks like i gotta buy that too lol.
But the shirt is awesome and got me even more excited about the costume!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE ON THIS THREAD I COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITH OUT YOU!!!

Well, I probably could have but it would have been alot harder lol!! Thank you friends!!! The shirt is so great that I think I'm gonna order another to do a bloody version and see what I like better! Plus I think I have decided to do Season two because I'm worried about the QM pants not geting here on time. So no stripe, no collar pins, no hat.
But, if I did go with the hat does the cord just wrap around the hat and stay in place?
Also, since I have never worked with this gear before is a belt keeper to go around your duty belt AND your pants belt?
Stupid questions I know, sorry.

No need to apologize... the badges they are making are cheap and readily available, so I can't blame anyone for buying from them. Compare their badge to the ones I produced:

The center seal appears to be a copy and the letter spacing is a dead match. They did change up the background to be bumpy vs. smooth and they changed the bottom triangle, which is why I say it is not a full reproduction of mine, but I see enough similarities that I'm confident that they used mine heavily as the reference source.

PunisherNC, I love how you've messed up that shirt. What kind of "blood" are you using? Is it permanent, or do you have to reapply after washing? Also, what are you using for the...er...other fluid stains? Thanks.

Yes, your duty belt goes on the outside of your pants belt and the keepers "keep them there" Newer stuff has velcro on the inside of the duty belt and outside of the pants belt, so that you dont have to loop everything on one at a time (holsters and cuffs etc)

The heavy blood is blood gel... You melt it in the bottle in hot water then dribble it on the clothing. The washed out blood is standard fake blood. It fades out like that when it dries. The black is black fake zombie blood. It fades just like the standard fake blood.

As for washing it? I can't say I've bothered to wash it... Febreeze only, lol

He drops items from his belt as time goes on... my costume at D*C was his "episode one" loadout, complete with key holder and flashlight.

Why he'd ditch the flashlight is a mystery to me... seems like it'd be quite useful in the ZPAW...

so my gun arrived today and ill say that im pleased with it!, its very light weight, as its all plastic, but the colors are right and i wont/shouldnt have any problems bringing it into any bars on halloween or strict conventions. the barrel only seems to be about 4 or 5 inches(not sure exactly where to measure) but for those on a budget it will do the job.

Also i had ordered my hat from killer hats and it arrived the other day but unfortunately i had to return it as it was the wrong size, so im just going to get a cheaper halloween costume hat for now, but its not too costumey so i think it will be just fine! once i get my pants and have everything else in order ill get some pictures up!

Wow great photos of rick's uniform best on this thread so far I think . Been watching this thread for months now great info. Ended up making the shirt myself could'nt justify spending nearly £60 on the shirt living in the uk. Anyway what I did was buy a raf stone desert short sleeved shirt and painted the epauletts and pockets brown. Not a perfect colour match I know but did the trick will foul the untrained eye ha ha. Got the ebay collar pins and badge but the correct patches. Will try and put it on when I figure out how to get photos on.
