Why all of this hate on Michael Bay? He's the greatest film maker that ever lived!

That's what I'm thinking. Bay is the worst thing to happen to movies since keanu reeves. He's killed the Transformer franchise and divided the fandom and his other movies are just explosions with a handful of lines thrown in.
They probably are waiting to see how the next GI joe does before launching this to see if any money is left in live action versions of cartoons.
 
This was looking like such a blatant clone of Bay's Transformers franchise that I'm surprised it got as far into development as it did. They might as well have cast Shia to play a teenage kid who bought the black lion on a used car lot.

It would have to be the yellow lion for sheer facepalmness...
 
You think the person doing the concept art would actually sit down and study the design. He has all of the lions in the wrong spots. Almost like the image was flipped but alas, it's not. The statue of liberty is correct.
