Voltron Costume Update Page 3

I am starting on my Voltron (Lion version) Pilot Jumpsuit. Does anybody have a screencap or can help me with a screencap of the emblem they wear on their chest? I think they are all the same.

A little but not far off topic but has anyone made a functional key? I'd love to get one.

The center piece is a latch that folds open from the middle so to key can be removed.

Based on this pic of Lance

The top is my idealized version with the crown on both the latch and the key

Second has a bigger cross and the cross on the latch only.

I'm a huge Voltron fan so I'm glad to help. Voltron and Thundercats were my favorite shows growing up so I'll help make any part of it a reality I can. I actually had the Key itself already made up I just had to cut in two and add the latch bit. I'm still waiting on a working key and a good Sword of Omens.

Any progress on the rest of the suit? The helmet should be pretty strait forward.

I just got my leather white gloves in the mail, I am going to start looking at materials for the rest of the suit. I was thinking about using plastic shoulder bells, what do you think?

Here ya go. I can't think of any other changes that are needed. The series was pretty inconsistent in how it drew some things so I'm gonna call this my definitive version unless you see anything that needs changing.

Bump Any progress? I think I may have figured out a way to make a "working" key. I'll mock something up and see if it work s when I get time.

Sorry for the delay, but here are some rough pics of the costume. I have a ton of modifications to do on the jumpsuit yet. But here is my basic idea with colors...The V is just a rough for sizing, it will be edged and sized perfectly. I will be using plastic painted Shoulder bells.

The gloves are the best thing I found, I just have to put a nice colored stripe on them.

Let me know what you think so far...I think my Key needs to be bigger. The model is a lot smaller than me by the way.

Photos are working for me.

It looks really good so far. Color seems to be spot on for Hunk. The key definately needs to be bigger. Maybe twice the size it is now and moved down toward the point of the V.
