I worked off of this image. Note that the landing gear base on the Ghost is different than this but I liked this better

I have been slowly working away at the Ghost's cockpit after a break from it to finish some other projects. The ladder, rear doorway and basic conrol console shapes are in. Ignore the hollow at the back of the consoles, that will be for lighting access and will have a panel over them when finished.
Another Important change I have made is to introduce and inner canopy frame for all canopies. This means there will be inside detail on the canopy, and the vacuum formed canopy will be sandwiched inbetween the two frames, leading to a far more realistic look.

I know that feeling! Fusion is awful for it, but in the new major update they added the ability to emboss/deboss complex curves

Definitely looks different to the animated one. I may go for a combo of the two. I like the hyperdrive levers being on the console rather than the side.

Regarding the kitbash parts of the Ghost, I already identified every kit and every part used in Rogue One and modeled them all. I have some kits with the 3D parts for sale, but I also have a list with all of them, there are like 300+. It definitely was a bit difficult at times to identify them because they modified them in size and stuff. Btw nice work on the Ghost!

I took a bit of a hiatus on the Ghost while I did commissions and other life stuff, but I have returned to it. Now Ahsoka has aired I’ve incorporated the cockpit details from that show as they look much nicer and Star Wars-esque than the animated show.

Awesome work so far! I started on modeling out the VCX-100 a while back. I'm pretty close to finishing. It was a chore figuring out how to make all the interior fit right (according to what's on screen)—especially when it comes to the aft compartments and shuttle dock, but I think I have it all figured out. I still have the lounge, galley, side airlocks, and an engine room compartment to model out—and finish up a few small details on the cockpit, cargo bay entrance overhead, and exterior. All the door slides work and will have interior lighting options. It will have access lids and side panels so you can access every compartment. I have a few WIP photos on Instagram @beaux3d—I have more shots of the cockpit there. I've tried to stick to the details from what's seen on the Rebels series for the interior details—while making some improvisations here and there. The exterior is based on the ILM model from Rogue One & Rise of Skywalker.

After I finish the current work, I plan on going back to make a mod kit for the Ghost upgrades from the Ahsoka series. Will be printable at any size really, but the default scale will be 1:12 for the Black Series figures, but will also have a 1:18 scale option for the Vintage Collection.

Looks amazing! I just realized that I don't have foot peddles on my nose gun chair. Definitely digging your's more than mine. I'm going to have to render some better close up shots of my stuff. You've done an amazing job!

Thank you! That’s so kind of you to say! I don’t think the seat in Rebels had them, but I figured it would make sense for them to be there.

Your work is insanely good! You’ve really captured the look of the ship in the show.

Had a burst of enthusiasm for the Ghost and got the cockpit consoles done. They are very much based off the Ahsoka ones, with a bit of Millennium Falcon and X-Wing inspiration in there.
They are designed to be printed in clear resin, and either mask the lights or sand them down after painting the exterior. I'm doing a test print hopefully over the weekend to see how they look!
