Vader ROTJ saber - ball catch question

Hi,

I'm about to build a Vader ROTJ saber and seeking for some help regarding ball catch. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information how the ball catch is secured to the flash gun. Is it screwed or simply glued?

Any information would be really appreciated.
