NHM, I think the diameter is the same

But yours touches both the outer tabs on either side, whereas the other one only covers the tip of one. Unfortunately, the ring I found is at my parent's place, but I'll go there this weekend to get a picture taken... it is NOT the correct ring, as it is too skinny. The original looks flat... almost ceramic-like in thickness and the collar doesn't look to be trimmed in. But yours is in the same ball-park as what I found... but as mine... not an exact match.

I think that's mostly down to the positioning and angle of the ring - I just slapped it on top of the facemask for the pic. If I pulled it slightly more toward the faceplate I believe it would clear the tabs much in the same way as seen in the pic we are using as a reference. I'm not certain but we'll see, I'll try a pic later and we can decide from that how far out the diameter is.

Here's that pic to show what I mean about the diameter being close - I moved it forward on the faceplate and it cleared the tabs:

I think the internal diameter is pretty close.

What throws it off is the wider external ring on the part I found. There may well be another part out there with a 'ready made' smaller external ring which doesn't need trimmed down, but it certainly looks as if we are on the right lines with plumbing / pipe flange fittings.:thumbsup

OK, I couldn't resist trimming this down to see how close it looked.

Did a really rough 5 minute trim and sand job with my dremel (if you took some time and did it properly it would look better!:lol) and tried it out for size:

Interesting, but was the masks ring plastic/resin/fiberglass? The dome rings in my DP Deluxe and JB ESB were resin.
