Limited Run V4 Incom t-65 Limited run

Just wondering if there was any new info on kits coming out. Really hoping to have one of these under my Christmas tree :D

I got the message from Mike this morning requesting payment and saying my kit would ship around Wednesday. I think I was number 7 on the list.

I know one other member has received his already, but he hasn't had time to check it out thoroughly, or post anything about it. But they are coming!

I believe I was #1 on the list and I got mine over three weeks ago. I haven't had the time to start with it yet, but looking through the bags and the big hull pieces I am very pleased with it. The kits are on their way, I guess this level of quality just takes some time, that's all. It's worth the wait. :)

Woo Hoo! My V4 just arrived! Mike said it would ship by today, and he got it out early. Unboxing to follow if I'm motivated enough. Thanks, Mike!

I've been excited to see someone post there progress in building this bad boy. I keep contacting Mike hoping he will respond regarding a couple of missing pieces that are stopping me from starting mine. Please Mike!

Hopefully this is an okay place to post this. I can't imagine Mike would mind since I only have good things to say.

I've opened up my nicely packaged kit and all the pieces are there. This is my first resin kit and I've read lots about how rough they can be, and I've seen the ILM models up close and the resin castings are pretty awful in many cases. So I'm happy to report that I'm thrilled with the quality of the craftsmanship in this kit. It has what is to me a perfect balance between handmade and machine made kits. It looks like what the guys at ILM made, only the castings are so much nicer.

Details are sharp and crisp. The resin feels solid and strong. I don't know which resin is being used (I know squat about that stuff anyway, so much to learn) but it's much nicer than I expected. This thing is going to be heavy when it's done!

Here are the parts all laid out.

It's a lot of parts and it's pretty daunting to an amateur like me considering there's no instruction manual, so I'm really glad Moffeaton is doing a build guide.

I've got a couple Finemolds and an MPC X-Wing to build first as practice, but I look forward to tackling this thing someday.

Thanks so much, Mike. I'm thrilled!

Thanks for the heads up kalarcana. That's weird. It was working fine for a while then vanished. I've put it back so hopefully it will stay that way.

Thanks to all who have posted pictures and provided clues about timeline.
With this information, there's at least hope my V4 might arrive before Christmas.

Do you think the V4 will be the last run of OT X-wing's produced since they've redesigned the ship for Ep VII?
LOVING the new "criss-cross" wing halves - I think the design is far more elegant.

Hi Mike are these still available and do they come with a decal sheet?
Thanks and take care, Tim

I got a message from mike to say my invoice should be with me any day now, don't know where I am on the list or if it helps.

Would it be possible to post up a list of people waiting for a kit and those who have already received their kit? Possibly looking at getting 2 kits now.

Received mine this weekend and under the tree it goes!

Rest assured, all, he's working on these and getting them out quickly!
