USCM M240 Incinerator (flamethrower) is done!

Hot off the workbench.

This morgan13 kit was a joy to build. I did a major mod by removing the enitre front end (just ahead of the carry handle) and hollowing it out. After it was hollowed, I ran a length of copper pipe down the center, and through the muzzle to more closely replicate the "real" version.

The main colors used were Bess Brown and semi-flat black. The muzzle was painted in a flat black, then dry-brushed with Alclad Jet Exhaust to simulate the effects of heat.

And now, on to the show.

Hmmm toastie :)

Great stuff, love the effect on the nozzle.

What is the weight like compared to a pulse rifle?

WOW... :eek

Great job on that muzzle. It cracks me up how many M16 parts they used on that (bolt releases, magazine releases, dust cover, heat shield, upper receiver...)

Thanks all.

Sidewinder--- I would suggest contacting morgan13 about that. I don't know if they are still available.

Burnt Kona--- Don't know about the weight comaparison, as I've never held a Pulse Rifle . I'd put this in the 8 pound range, maybe a hair less.

WOAH... That's insane, I love it.

You have a great looking prop there, well done...

Cheers,

Kraig

I haven't been over there in years...long before it was called Legacy. I did just post over there, and will probably start popping back in from time to time.

I'm seeing nothing. Not even red "x"s. Sounds cool, though. But it'd be nicer to see it.

Same here, although I at least see red X´s. Is there any other place one can watch the pics, like imageshacks or flickr ?? Thanks. :)
