Ultimate Collectors Buzz Lightyear

Oh, now that is top notch.

Big fan of Buzz Lightyear, and have one still in packaging from Downtown disney a few years back.

The one thing i am really pleased about, is actually the box among other things, in the UK, we have never had the 'spaceship' box i don't think, not sure about the US.

I had an original way back when the movie came out, and was always mad that the wing tips didnt light up like in the movie.......this is a must buy

wait...did buzz originally have lights on the tip of the wings...i don't remember that!

ine thing though, i messed with it at Target, and its not Tim Allen's voice. An old Buzz i have is Tim's. So not sure why theyd go through all the accuracy to then not have the right voice..

Yep, that'd be a deal breaker for me. Although on the link in your first post says "65 sayings in original voice". Go figure. If it were Tim's voice, I'd pick it up in a heart beat! :)

-B89! :D

I saw this and am seriously debating picking this up. The only problem really is the advertisement with Disney claims "Original Voice" but Kylash you're saying it's NOT Tim Allen? :confused

They couldn't throw in the utility belt?

i dunno...i played with one at target that was the same price as this, had motorized head movement, etc, and wasnt Tim Allen.

they had it at target in my area, played with it and it sounded like time allen to me. I didn't like the motorized head movement though. they had another version there for $25 still had the sings fly up like in the movie but didn't have the lights in the wings, and was possable. I think I like that better personally.

Yeah, I just saw this (I thin it was this one) ay Yarget and it did have Tim Allen's voice.

Maybe the one you played with Kylash had dying batteries. I found the same with a Trek tricorder (TOS) picked it up, hit the buttons and heard a strange voice talking about apparently Human life-forms. I tried a second one and it was Leonard Nimoy!
I was very surprised at how clear the one that was obviously dying still sounded. I had initially wondered why they would have a strange voice coming out of the tricorder!

Must be the way the sound chips work these days...

I didn't mind that. I did mind that there was no opening wrist communicator, though, and that's the first thing I looked for on this one.

It looks great, but I think the wingspan is lacking.

The collectors edition will have the correct wing span size as well as other upgrades such as the opening wrist communications. There is a less featured Ultimate piece out, you will have to be careful to search out the right one.
