For any of the UK guys here we ( The RPB ) are doing another prop party at the National Space centre star wars event on the weekend of the 6th - 7th of May, event info here-
National Space Centre Online - May The Fourth Be With You (Well Almost)
All profits for this event will go to childrens charities like make a wish foundation
This will be the 6th year that we have been doing prop parties here so anyone who hasn't been along we would love to see you , be it for a chat or feel free to bring some props along if you would like to display them :cool
We are all RPF members too and big fans of this place so be great to see any of you and put a face to the names :thumbsup
The National Space Centre is one of the top UK costuming venues and prefered by Star Wars , Star Trek, Doctor Who and Aliens costuming clubs alike and a great Sci-fi setting for events and was voted best UK large visitor attraction 2009.
With public attendances in the thousands its not to be missed.
The UKG will be on hand with all the star wars costumes you could wish for and star signings so far are
· Kenny Baker
· Jeremy Bulloch (Sunday Only)
· Ian Liston
· Rusty Goffe
· Garrick Hagon (Saturday Only)

As well as Star Wars activities all day for big and small kids there are trade stands and all the amazing attractions and interactive displays that the space centre has all year round.
The RPB will be doing a massive Prop display as usuall as well as prop making workshops all weekend.

As usual we will be displaying props from all manner of sci-fi movies ,not just Star Wars so anything goes , previously we have also had Star Trek,Predator,Lord of the Rings .Indiana Jones , Firefly, anime props, Aliens ,Terminator , Men in Black ,Hellboy , Judge Dredd and 2000ad, Blakes 7 and 5th Element to name but a few ...ok thats not a few but you get the idea !
If anyone fancies joining us to display or just hang out , drop me a line as we have discounted hotel rates available and there will be obligatiry drinking in the evenings :love
This is the first of 3 events where we are doing prop Parties this year , if you cant make this one be sure and catch another at the Aliens 30th Anniversary event or the Movie Mania Weekend later in the year
