UK freesat advert .. pen looks familiar..

I just noticed that the "Octopen 5000" in the UK Freesat advert appears to be a modified 11th doctor Sonic screwdriver..
Need to find better pics, but watching the Youtube ad it seems that my suspicion is right..

Better pics I think prove my theory of the 11th Doctor Sonic being used in a modified form for an unrelated TV ad..

Looks like the bits removed from the emitter end (claw pieces) have been used at the other end to secure the pen nib..
Also there is the nod to Dr Who when he holds the "pen" up to his forehead like imitating the Dalek Eye stalk..
