U.S.S. Voyager - fake or real?

It does look like one of the prototype models seen in The Art Of Star Trek book, but that doesn't really mean much. I don't know who this seller is or where they got it from. 50 grand is ridiculous for a prototype, that's the kind of money filming models go for.

might be,might not be
could think of a few better toys id buy for $50K
althoughhhhhh....
would you buy off an ebay seller with a feed back of 85.7%

thats the lowest i have ever seen in 6 yrs of buying off ebay

Studying the auction pics with the Art of Star Trek pics, I'd say it's the real deal, but the guy is nuts wanting so much for it...

I dont have that kind of money even in m y dreams - if so, i would buy some own apartment or house :lol

anyway I was just suspicious, because from the description isnt cleat if the model was really build by the people from the show - just that the design is from Rich Sternbach. And he dont have COA, so again, no proof.... for smth that anyone can build (based on the design from "he Art Of Star Trek book") he wants lot of money :confused

So IMHO its the real prototype. Also IMHO the seller is nuts to think it will fetch $50k. This is AT BEST a $5k piece and that's only if someone is feeling their oats.

I've seen lower. I was looking for the new Battlestar Galactica boxed set in Blu-ray earlier this year. I purchased mine for $132.50 off eBay which I thought was a fair price. Two weeks later there was the same brand-new box set for $35.00, with no reserve, ending in less than 24 hours with 2 bids! Aaarggh! Funny thing was the seller had a negative rating; negative 9%! :lol

Of the low number of items sold, most of this seller's feedback was negative and concerning money sent with no merchandise received... I didn't think it was possible to have a negative rating, but I've seen it. I'd be really cautious re: low feedback scores! Buyer beware.

555 transactions
and they only count the feedback rating for the last 12 months?

when did ebay change this?

and one of them was a guy who bid on the auction with a typo... a $2600 boat, that accidentally got listed at $26. I'd take the feedback hit too....
