Oliver Peoples OP-523... very rare and VERY expensive when they come up on eBay and to my understanding the lenses were custom colored.

I was Tyler for Halloween and put together a costume, what i can tell you about the glasses; He wears i believe two sets of Oliver Peoples glasses in the film, the rose colored lenses are the popular pair. They would go for a lot on ebay usually 1000+ range, then for the tenth anniversary last year OP reissued them in a short supply and the price dropped on them a bit. So you might be able to get a OP pair for a decent price. My friend was able to get a pair of Ops off the bay for 400 last month. Beyond that there's a few different replica sites, paperstreetshades being one of the more well known and pricier replicas, i havn't seen them in person so i can't comment on quality. http://www.fightclubsunglasses.com/ also has a nice replica for under a hundred but I've never seen these up close. I was just looking for a good replica to go with my costume and bought a pair from a company I believe are called Rouge Eye wear. I compared them with my friends legit OP's, and it was about 85-90% spot on, especially with the costume, i don't think i spent more than 40 bucks with shipping on them either. And they will constantly be different replicas be on the bay.

I was able to pick up a pair today on ebay. And it seems mine are from the same company as from the link you've posted. I think they're very fine and looking great. They even come with a FC soap bar. Will post my impressions when I get my pair.:thumbsup

btw, I had the same feeling about the 2nd op pair in the movie. The ones he's wearing in the airplane (the darker smokey glasses) have definately a different shape.

Andy- Yeah i think all together there are 3 or 4 pairs, all OPs i believe. The pair that is given substantial screen time and used in promotional images is the one we were talking about.
Sanctum- I'm not sure what you're asking, do the replicas look good? Yeah i got what i think is the cheapest replica and it looked real good. I didn't have to tweak it and i couldn't spend a ton of money on costume glasses that don't have a practical purpose. Remember these are fashion sunglasses, not performance. I also couldn't wear red lenses on a day to day basis.
