Is this a kit type thing you're assembling (like the Godzilla Tusken I'm working on), or is it already together?

If you're putting it together, I'd try an adjustable hard hat liner, before you put the wraps on.

Sorry made a mistake, not spina, its Godzilla's mask. It's already put together. I was thinking of the hard hat liner but not sure what would hold that thing to the rubber and not come off. I will try the foam idea

I made a Godzilla kit and made it smaller before putting it together. If your's is finished then you cannot do what I did.

That said, the mask - with latex and denim over it - has shrunk over time a tiny bit. It's even a little tight on me now!!

But it is only a display piece at this point:

Super late to the party here, but do any of you have a recommendation for displaying the mask and respirator without going full bust?

That’s fantastic! Really appreciate the tip - now I have a nice little project to commence this weekend ;-)

I also have a finished mask but could you show a picture how you did the resizing anyway, please?

I just added a rod to my wall mounted stands to hold the respirator. There’s a little plastic clip I glued in back to hold the respirator in place.

Hello! Missed this. Sorry. I made the head smaller originally by cutting two slits in the rubber: Each was cut from the bottom, going straight up behind the ear to about the top of the head.

Then I somewhat gathered the sides to slightly overlap the center and fastened them into place with Goop and a clamp.

FYI, I made the version where the back of the head was cut out - not the full over the head version.

Yeah, best available imho! I also struggled with doing another one but decided to redo mine. But who knows, maybe... ;)
