Trick r Treat Life-Size Sam

I've got a life-sized Sam, and got it pretty much completed (pics to be added). Anyway, I'm trying to put the bag over his head and noticed that I can't get the bag on flat against his round head, it always makes creases. Anyone know how to fix this?

buy several bags, and make one that more properly fits his head.

Alternatively, Pad out the bag you have, so its more fitted to his head, keeping the ouside flat.

That's the hardest part.

Buy burlap. Buy a beach ball. Cut the burlap like the beach ball, creating a separate piece of burlap for each colored panel of the ball.

Like PHArchivist suggested, sewing together strips of burlap or cutting seams into the bag would probably be the best way to go about it. I re-watched the movie and it seems at points, like there are definitely seams in Sam's mask to make it fit the actor better (considering that his head is supposed to be a pumpkin, it's definitely not person-shaped)
That being said... pics please! I love Trick 'r Treat and there's not too many prop replicas from it around here
