I don't own any Trek props, but I love the design of the cop helmet in this film and would be awesome to have. Wondering if anyone is working on this by any chance?

As soon as he looked into the camera, I though "I bet there's already a thread about this at the RPF." :lol

I thought the same thing! LOL

Id be interested in making in if I had the time right now. Getting a house and moving is eating that all up. I am definitely down for getting one how ever!

It looks like if you push the buttons on either cheeks hot air will come out of the eye slit and you can dry your hands in the restroom.

Yes I would like to make this if someone can point me in the direction of some good ref pix...but I dont think there is any out there as Ive tried looking, even in the movie ya only get to see the front ..hmm..anyone?

Though a very cool looking helmet, is this really neccesary for a cop to wear? Seriously. What...is the guy giving speeding tickets in space where he needs an enviro helmet? :confused

Well, he is on a bike (flying, but still...) in a very dusty environment, and he need some facial protection (as well as head protection) and there could be a microphone, earplugs, a screen projected into the lens for all the info needed as well as some personal "life support" apparatus... Seems quite logical to me, also because we don't know exactly what that flyng bike is really capable of!:cool
(And also, a cop without face looks pretty intimidating to me...;))

Not to mention that cops on motorcycles today wear a motorcycle helmet as well:)
