For those of you who have already seen the movie, one of the things that stuck out at me was Sam Witwicky's "Bee-Otch" air freshener. Given the character, I thought for sure it was a custom jobbie, but lo and behold, it's a found item..

And you can order them here...

yup, picked up one of these before the premier, only thing is if you compare it to screencaps, youll see the cutout outline is different, the one in the film is cut close around the antennae.

I remember seeing that air freshener in Hot Topic stores. I believe they also ran some other products with the same bee.

Very niced Begsby!:eek '77?

I know this is kinda off the topic a bit, but does anyone know what year the "Hero" Camaro was. I was thinking '77, though I guess they could have mocked up anything between '75-'77 to look identical. I know early on they were stating it was a '74, but unless they put in a '75 or later back window, that couldn't be the case.

My '74, which always kind of reminded me of a Stormtrooper....:lol

Now to get one of those air fresheners. Thanks for the info!

Edit: Nevermind, found a link. It was a '76 apparently. Of course they totally trash (as it call it the crappiest Camaro ever) the car in this article. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Features/articleId=121138

some screenshots showing out the cutout is different, and then a few shots of the one linked to there, I did replace the string though to be accurate white, it comes with black.

Well, just got a message from Yujean, the Bee Otch fresheners are sold out.

Kylash, any chance of a high res scan of yours? I don't care about the freshener part, I'd be just as happy to print it out on card stock.

Thanks

Geez, I had a 77 a few years ago, all primered and ready to paint. Sold it for 500 bucks. If I would have known I could have kept it, slapped on some yellow paint, and had a cool display to hang my air freshener in. :)

theres a premier props lot on ebay with the disco ball, bobble lion and air freshener screen used.

Kylash, can you give me the dimensions on your freshener? Just something like wing tip to wing tip. I'm going to print out the high res copy that Reel Fakes provided, but some dimensions would be helpful.

ill do that when i get home tonight, im at work right now. I am taking the shot of the screen used one and comparing it to the provided graphic we got here and doing a few modifications and drawing the cutout line, ill post it when im completed.
