transformer armor

hi folks im new here and to the building of armor. with that said i have an idea for a transformer cross over mix and am kinda needing ideas on how to get started and what can i do with cardboard to get started or to do the build. any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Have you got some pics of what you want to achieve. That's normally the first place to start. Or is it a totally new idea that hasn't been done before, even in parts?

I would still use Pepakura Designer to use templates for your cardboard build,in particular for difficult shapes that would be hard to free-hand.
