I know for the 1st pilot Enterprise the windows were painted on.
The I look at the picture below.
Am I seeing this right? The 3 windows on the bottom rim of the saucer are drilled holes and not painted?
The same looks like for the 3 windows at the front edge.

That’s correct, All 3 sets of 3 ‘windows’ were drilled and lit up (lit after Pilot)

It’s always been a neat characteristic.

The model was lit up with windows/ Nav lights before they changed the bridge /engine configuration for Where No Man has gone Before.
