Ok, so I have been working on a little something here... I call them Ribbed Iron Man Finger Cots with a Wrist (get it... instead of with a twist, lol - stupid I know). A finger cot is like a glove but it just covers the fingers. They sell them in latex versions but nothing that is ribbed like this. Anyway, I'm not sure when these will be ready but I wanted to know what you guys thought of the design. I am going to have them 3D printed and then I will finish them off, make molds, and then I will be popping out urethane rubber casts. They will be deep red with black accents in the groves just like in the movie.

Those look so very cool!! Are they aimed at fitting under the glove or instead of the glove? Looks awesome.

Do you have a place to get them printed??

Matt

EDIT: Sorry - looked closer at the picture. WANT!!! :D

Yes, they are designed to go under the Iron Man armored glove. Yes, I have a place to get them printed.

Interesting, so you'd have a thin silk/cotton glove on, then these cots on your fingers then the hard pieces slipped on. All about the flexibility given if I'd be interested, if you can still clench your fist. But I"m sure they will be top notch if you're the guy making them.

You would not need a fabric glove on if you had these. You should not be able to see your palm while wearing the glove. These could be fixed in the glove with glue so that you would not need to put on 2 or 3 gloves... you would just put your hand through the wrist and into the fingers and close the palm. I have not made them yet but the theory is sound. I have given it quite a bit of thought to the design. There is still a little tweaking to do but the ribbed designs are done.

How much for the finger cots with a twist :)

I have not determined a price yet. It will depend on the cost of the 3D printwork, molding and casting supplies, and how many people sign up.
